BEST OWNER. The best owner you've never heard of? Mike Field. He has revived the dormant Mariners soccer franchise in Virginia Beach, the city where he grew up and played soccer before attending William and Mary. Under his stewardship, veteran stars Roy Lassiter and Dante Washington -  big names among Americans -- are playing home games at the Sportsplex instead of in huge cities in Major League Soccer. The Mariners actually score goals, too -- five in two games and three in two others.
